Fall 2011
Thank you for registering for classes at Grace Studios School of Dance (GSSD).  We are so blessed to have such amazing dancers, parents and supporters. We are also very excited about this coming year, as GSSD is celebrating 10 years in business. Thank you for choosing to celebrate dance with us!

Tuition and Fees Policies

• Tuition can be paid two ways – in-full or monthly. We greatly appreciate tuition in-full and honor a $10 credit on your statement, for all tuition paid in-full.
• Your full (year) tuition is listed on your statement.  Monthly tuition is your full tuition divided into eleven (11) monthly payments – August through June.
• Your August tuition is due by your first class. Monthly tuition is due on your first class of the month, until June (June being your last payment). September tuition is due before September 15^th to avoid late fees.
• A late fee of $15 will be added to your account for all payments received after the 15^th of each month. This late fee policy will be strictly enforced this year and extended to reflect the middle of the month season start.  Please pay on time.
• Yearly registration fees ($30) are due by your first class.
• Costume Deposits (for the winter recital) are listed on your statements and due by September 10^th.
• Costume Balances will be added to your statements (if needed) and are due upon receipt.
• Recital Fees (for the winter recital) are listed on your statements and due by October 10^th.
• GSSD prefers payments in cash or by check, but will honor Visa and MasterCard payments.  A 3% merchant fee will be charged for all credit card payments.
• Your monthly statements will be EMAILED to you on the 20^th and 1^st of each month.  Please mark gracestudios1@hotmail.com and stephaniebogrett@msn.com as safe (not junk) for prompt delivery.  If you would like a hard copy of your statement or have questions regarding your account, please email or call Stephanie directly – 303-949-3556.

Attendance and Studios Closures

Regular attendance is expected by all dancers. We strive to create the best learning environment for each dancer and class as a whole.  Without your commitment to attend each class, it is very hard to maintain consistency.  Our policy is to allow no more then five (5) absences in regular concert classes and three (3) in company classes.  We understand sickness, and prefer you were not at the studio if you have a fever or are contagious, but otherwise we expect you to be present.  If you must be absent, please call the main studio line – 303-465-5678, to excuse the absence.

Grace Studios will always follow the Boulder Valley School District for severe weather closures and snow days.  Please check their website, our website and the GSSD voicemail. Thanks!

Liability Waivers, Contracts and Studio Guidelines

• Each dancer needs to have a current liability waiver on file in order to participate in class.  All SDC members must also have a signed SDC contract on file to participate in each company class.
• Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to each class, with appropriate shoes and dance attire.
• Please go to the bathroom (or take your little ones to the bathroom) BEFORE class starts.
• All dance attire is to be age appropriate and moveable – NO school clothes, i.e. jeans.
• Hair should be tied back and secure at all times. Dancers should have good personal hygiene and clean belongings.
• Absolutely NO gum or food in class or the studio/lobby.  Water and contained snacks are allowed.  Please no fast food or “huge mess” foods.
• Parents are allowed to watch the LAST 5 MINUTES of class ONLY.  Please drop your dancers and come back.  Especially the little ones.  We value our special time with your dancer and you are open to enjoy yours.
• Please leave all belongings in the front area cubbies.  GSSD is not responsible for lost or stolen items.  Please do not bring any valuables to class.
• NO CELL PHONES IN CLASS.  This will be strictly enforced.  You can have them in your dance bags for emergencies, but NOT in class. NO TEXTING WHILE DANCING J
• Each dancer, teacher, parent and supporter are expected to share their positive attitudes.  GSSD will not tolerate negativity and gossip.
  Please remember to step into the studio with your “best foot forward”, respect others and love your dancing neighbor.
